The Community was developed by Talbot Lewis with a Caribbean architecture in mind. The homes were built by Al Cassidy. Talbot created a beautiful retreat with winding paths, exotic gardens and a lake with Orchids everywhere which is why they gave it the name of Orchid Springs. Everything connects to a small shopping area for the residents.
This Community is a combination of condos, patio homes, and a 55+ section of homes with a total of approximately 400 homes comprised of one, two, and three bedroom homes to accommodate different sizes and lifestyles. Most of the homes were built from 1970 to 1987.
This community is in Southeast Winter Haven FL off Overlook Dr. The location is close to shopping, restaurants, and downtown. The LegoLand Theme Park is nearby. There is easy and quick access to Highway 27.
There is a homeowner's association. They do not have a CDD (Community Development District) fee in the property taxes as some communities do. The Amenities include a Community Pool and Clubhouse.
